Our cluster consists of different types of entities to promote the growth of the national automotive sector through initiatives and mobilizing projects that strengthen international competitiveness through: innovation, increased value added, increased national incorporation and, increased exports of components and complete vehicles through increased cooperation and coordination between enterprises, associations, public administration bodies and entities of SI&I. Generally, cluster members are satisfied with the activities, according to them our networking is really good. It´s positive, that the participation on activities from the cluster extended their network. Also, the activities carried out were always focused on our members, so the feedback was good.
The SMEs feel that we represent their interest. They recognize our effort but for some of them, we will need to see the services that will make a difference in their organizations or activity to help them to grow. One thing that we have to improve is the level of connection, some think that we have a strong connection and others don´t and in this case, we have to collaborate more to have better personal relationships.
Based on the replies, our cost-benefit is positive. Through us, they feel that the benefits are various, and they enjoy being involved in different type of projects. Also, members have the opportunity to participate in collaborative R&D and innovation projects where they can show their products and services. Members do not have to invest in our network themselves to be involved in our initiatives, we invite them to have all the benefits that we can give so they can be a satisfied member.
Once a week we send to all members newsletters, with information about what we are doing, news and opportunities. The respond to our communication is that a lot of the times they don´t read or don´t receive. They think it would be better if we send to more than one person of the same organization.
Based on the questionnaire, we provide all the required information to members; if they have any doubts or questions, we respond very quickly. Normally members prefer emails for everyday communication, but they also appreciate in-person events (e.g. meetings, General Assembly). We believe that we will improve due to new modern website totally different and with a new perspective.
According to our members we take initiative. During the Covid-19 crisis we worked with our government to contribute to the creation and development of solutions for the automotive industry creating a set of actions to help our companies specifically the simplified layoff and training. Also, another action from us was to schedule meetings with our members to try to understand their needs and be closer to them. Behaviour that was recognized by the members.
