Comprehensive electrification of vehicles and transportation systems is paramount to the success of a global approach.

In September 2020, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer launched a state initiative to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 through development and implementation of the MI Healthy Climate Plan. Michigan is also a member of the U.S. Climate Alliance, a coalition comprised of governors throughout the United States that are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions similar to actions being taken under the Paris Agreement.

Join us as Michigan and The Netherlands consider perspectives on the future of electrification. The distinguished panel includes Dr. Richard Smokers MSC, a leading research associate from renowned Dutch research organization, TNO; Denise Gray, president & CEO for LG Chem Michigan, Inc.
